Anti-lice shampoo
Anti-lice shampoo
Lice dislike this shampoo recipe containing tea tree, lavender, palmarosa, rose geranium, and carnation bud – making it a good choice to prevent an infestation during a lice outbreak at school!
The essential oil of lavender has repellent properties. Applying one drop behind the ears can be a short-term preventative measure – and of course, it can also be applied to clothing (hats, scarves). The aforementioned fragrance blend can also be added undiluted to unscented laundry detergent.
Tip: Coconut oil is the most effective plant oil for suffocating lice. Apply it to the entire head and leave it on overnight. Rinse it out and then wash with shampoo.
