This course will introduce the fundamentals of modern aromatherapy. The various effects of essential oils and hydrosols on the human body will be examined, along with their empirically and scientifically validated basis. Simple application methods via the skin and respiratory tract will be explained, with particular emphasis on the correct dosage of essential oils for adults.
The practical section delves deeper into application examples related to the topics of headaches, sleep disorders, and mental health. -

The main focus is on knowledge of the health-promoting power of essential oils and their use in treating minor illnesses and pain, stimulating metabolism, and supporting the immune system.

Participants will deepen their skills in blending essential oils and learn the perfumery concept of top, middle, and base notes to create balanced fragrance compositions. They will put their knowledge into practice and create their own fragrance creations such as lip balms, aroma roll-ons, and body oils.

Two main topics will be the focus of this day: aromatherapy applications for typical complaints in older people and the creation of scent profiles. Evidence-based applications for geriatric complaints will be discussed in detail, and connections with basic stimulation measures will be explored.

This seminar provides basic knowledge for the safe use of essential oils during pregnancy and childhood. Suitable oils and applications for typical complaints will be presented. The gentle effects of pure plant oils and hydrosols during pregnancy and the baby period will also be discussed.

This seminar provides theoretical and practical knowledge of percutaneous applications, thermal stimuli, and essential oils. Simple, effective applications will be presented and tested directly.

Basic knowledge for evaluating scientific evidence in aromatherapy and aromatherapy care. You will learn what characterizes a scientific study and explore different forms of evidence. An overview of studies on selected topics promotes understanding of research in practice. In addition, other aromatic compounds will be discussed as substance groups of essential oils, and their most important properties will be explored in more detail.

Selected essential oils have pain-relieving, decongestant, anti-inflammatory, or antispasmodic properties. They can stabilize the psyche and soothe hypersensitive cells in the brain and spinal cord in cases of chronic pain. Simple applications such as rubs or oil compresses and relaxing exercises complement these effects. Well-being is enhanced, and healing can be accelerated and positively influenced.

Hormonal changes can manifest themselves in different phases of life through physical and emotional complaints, for example in connection with the menstrual cycle, menopause or urogenital health.
Aromatherapy offers practical ways to regulate and support the body in everyday life. This seminar will teach aromatherapy techniques specifically for women, which can be used for cycle-related discomfort, menopausal symptoms, and recurring issues in the intimate area.

Caring for people with dementia places high emotional and practical demands on family members and caregivers. Supportive methods can help make daily life calmer and less stressful. Essential oils and hydrosols can help to soothe tense situations, support sensory perception, and promote respectful interactions. The importance of self-care for caregivers is also addressed.
One focus is on the mindful use of essential oils with targeted fragrance selection, very low dosage, and the perception of nonverbal reactions and individual needs.

The use of essential oils can meaningfully complement yoga practice and yoga classes. Scents can be intentionally combined with meditation, breathing exercises (pranayama), and asanas, and can support perception and presence.
This one-day course teaches the fundamentals of selecting and using essential oils in yoga. The focus is on practical integration into personal yoga practice and teaching. Participants will practice yoga with essential oils and receive guidance for their conscious and responsible use.

What influence does skin care have on health? To answer this question, this module covers basic knowledge of skin function. The characteristics of different skin types and their identification will be practiced on-site. This seminar day deepens practical knowledge of natural raw materials in natural cosmetics and aromatherapy. After analyzing cosmetic products and gaining an overview of ingredients and labels, participants will be able to create their own products.
