Olfactory training
Olfactory training with essential oils stimulates the olfactory cells to regenerate when olfactory perception has been impaired by viral or other diseases.
Tips:
· Conduct olfactory training in the morning and evening
· It is recommended to use the essential oils in the scent stick to avoid overdose due to impaired olfactory perception.
· To assess your own perception and track progress, a chart for documenting olfactory intensity is helpful. The chart is available at www.farfalla.ch/de/meta/kataloge-broschuren

| 3 drops | Lavender fine organic, essential oil |
| 3 drops | Organic red mandarin essential oil |
| 3 drops | Organic peppermint Grand Cru, essential oil |
| 3 drops | Organic cinnamon bark, essential oil |
| 1 piece | Smelling stick set in 5 colors |
Instructions
- Add 3-5 drops of each of the four essential oils into a separate scent stick and label it immediately.
- Perform olfactory training twice a day – morning and evening: Sniff a smelling stick for 15-30 seconds, saying the plant name, visualizing a picture of the plant or looking at its photo.
- Pause for one minute between each of the four scent perceptions.
