Golden award for farfalla for its rebranding by German Brand Award
farfalla’s rebranding has won gold in the category “Brand Design” at the German Brand Award 2019. Last year, the agency lämmler&mettler, specialized in brand development, has conceived and implemented the complete rebranding for the organic cosmetics and aroma care brand.
“We are very happy”, as stated by Malvin Richard, CEO of farfalla. „ With the redesign and our new slogan: “Follow the butterfly”, we are showing that we live up to our legacy whilst at the same time modernizing its design. The butterfly is not only part of our company name. It is the richest species and a very individual one. “This is perfectly matching for a hippie-company such as farfalla” says Richard. The farfalla team is pleased that the new marketing strategy has brought numerous new listings in the specialized trade throughout the DACH area (Germany-Austria-Switzerland) and internationally and that it has contributed to a double-digit growth rate.

It is consistently achieved with a clear concept and in a light and innovative way. The refreshing and emotional visual language reflects the values of farfalla and contrasts pleasantly with the natural cosmetics environment.
The German Design Council and the German Brand Institute bestow the German Brand Award. Thus they reward successful brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication every year.
